Routing sheets

The environment supports routing sheets for documents in the Plant document type group. Documents with the same routing sheet number that are in the same workflow state and have the same to-do person can all be routed by routing just one of the documents. The user will asked if they want to route the other documents in the same way.

A routing sheet number can be assigned to documents using the custom command Assign Routing Sheet that is available on the document shortcut menu or by setting the Routing Sheet property on the Project Info page. A default routing sheet number is generated that can be overridden by the user. The default routing sheet number is calculated as <Prefix>-<UserName>-<SequenceNumber>.
